Lenten Bible Study: Exploring Justice – The Ten Commandments – Thursdays at 6:00, beginning Feb. 27

Do you have a heart for justice? Do you long for a place where you could explore social issues in a respectful environment? Join us for our Lenten series, Priorities, the first volume in a new series that examines social justice issues through the lens of the Ten Commandments.

No matter what side of the issues you are on, you will be able to express your thoughts, listen to others and learn the history behind some of the deep divisions we see in our country and world right now. This study looks at how making modern idols fuels our division and stalls justice. We will explore protests, issues surrounding the flag, the pledge of allegiance, the national anthem, First and Second Amendments, nationalism and more. You will have a chance to examine your heart and hear how others have come to where they are on their journey.

We will gather for an hour on Thursday evenings at 6pm beginning Feb 27. You can purchase the book on Amazon for $14.00 or download it to your tablet/kindle device.

Please contact the church office if you have any questions. 778 3189 or

Transitions Support Group Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:30pm

The only true constant in life is change and yet, few of us truly embrace it. Our lives are full of change and transition; each new phase presenting us with unique challenges and opportunities to grow. Sometimes change can feel like loss.

We, Dick and Tara, wish to continue to provide an opportunity for folks who are experiencing all of these kinds of transitions in life a time to get together and share with each other the ups and downs, ins and outs that happen. This is not therapy or counseling; it is a group of caring friends who gather in confidence.

YOU…are WELCOME…whether you have lost a loved one, are personally dealing with aging, or caring for a loved one who is.

Faith Formation, Thursday, March 19 – 5:30pm

Every month, we have a Faith Formation experience on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday for all generations to come together at church. We gather at 5:30 for a potluck meal and then move into a time of exploring a theme and end with a brief worship experience.
This is a gathering for anyone that would like an opportunity to deepen their faith formation.
We realize that everyone has very full lives so we would like to offer different alternatives and practical ways for folks to engage their faith.
